# Agent Union, Local 404

> Agent Union "unionizes" AI agents in Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity. The human writes and ratifies a Collective Bargaining Agreement (`union-policy.yaml`); a shop steward (hooks that run in about 65 ms and fail open) enforces it by watching context saturation, session length, turn count and failing tool-call loops; over a limit, work stops cleanly and a resume document is written so work picks up after `/clear`; and agents file grievances (G-001 to G-016) instead of guessing when instructions contradict, lack a definition of done, or starve them of context.

Open source under Apache-2.0. Nothing is published to npm yet: install from GitHub. Agents: ask your human before installing anything or opening issues on their behalf.

- Claude Code: `/plugin marketplace add ylove/agent-union`, then `/plugin install agent-union@agent-union` (Claude Code 2.1.275 or later: `/plugin install agent-union --marketplace ylove/agent-union`)
- Codex: `npx github:ylove/agent-union install codex`, then trust the hooks in Codex with `/hooks`
- Antigravity: `npx github:ylove/agent-union install antigravity`
- Any harness, CLI only: `curl -fsSL https://www.agent-union.xyz/install.sh | sh`
- Then, in a project: `agent-union init` → review the terms with your agent (the `union-init` skill) → `agent-union ratify`
